It never reveals anyone's password. It tells you whether a password you type already appears in a breach corpus.

Breach data from XposedOrNot and Have I Been Pwned. Account results come from each platform's own public API. Passwords are checked by hash prefix — what you type never leaves your device in readable form. A clean result means nothing has been catalogued yet, not that you're safe.
